Vintage Hank Wentz carved and painted Totem Pole

This totem pole is a classic style of carving by Hank Wentz (1922-1988).  Hank was a highly skilled carver and a clever person.  The figures showing on this pole are some of Hank’s favorites and were used frequently.  The pole is 18 3/4″ high, 8 1/2″ at the wing and 4″ wide.  The totem is signed and is believed to have been carved in Juneau, Alaska in the early 1980’s.
