Vintage Tlingit carved wood Mask, Artist Unknown

This carved and painted mask was obtained via auction in 1985.  The auction description follows: “Rare old carved and painted mask purchased in Wrangell, Alaska in 1910 and old then.” listed as Circa 1880.  The mask measures approximately 7.5″ x 6″.  We have no further information on this item.
