Vintage Tlingit Shaman Mask, carved wood, Artist Unknown

This carved and painted mask was obtained via auction in 1985. The auction description follows: “Very rare and unusual Shamans Mask purchased in Wrangell, Alaska in 1910 and old then”  listed as Circa 1870.  We have no further information on this item. The mask measures approximately 7.5″ x 6.5″.  It has remnants of fur trim. Additional pictures on request. Shipping will be quoted on request. Domestic shipping only, thank you.
