“Midnight Sun..Working the Green Skiff” by Scott McDaniel,

An original oil painting by longtime Alaskan painter Scott McDaniel (1926 – 2012) featuring a colorful fishing boat, with a companion boat, the Green Skiff also working the net.  The scene is set in a hazy,  possibly early morning with a calm sky.  The reflection of the boats in the water is lovely. The painting is signed lightly in the lower right hand corner and en verso with the title, artist signature in two places and date 11-14-99.  The canvas is 9 x 12″ and the overall frames size is 16 x 19″. The painting is in excellent condition while the fabric liner shows some slight age staining.  There appears to be a small smudge of paint on the lower edge of the frame. This was framed by the artist.  Domestic shipping will be included.
