George Ahgupuk Original Color Drawing on Caribou Skin. “Man in a Kayak”

This is an older original color drawing by Inupiaq artist George Ahgupuk  ( 1911-2001)  of a man in a kayak in a colorful Arctic Ocean scene.  The drawing itself is approximately 5.5″ x 3.5 inches. It is framed in a metal frame with glass and light color matting. The outside dimensions are 7″ x 9″.  The drawing is signed “Caribou Skin” and “Ahgupuk”.  The metal frame has light scuffs from handling.  The date of this painting is unknown, however, it is believed to have been done sometime before 1980. The colors are soft and and the image is clear.  Domestic shipping is included.
